MOULD TESTING
Indoor mould growth can cause a wide range of health issues for occupants as well as damage to buildings and property. Under the Healthy Homes Standard 2019 rental homes must be free from mould and dampness before being rented out. Certain moulds such as Stachybotrys (black mould) can produce mycotoxins, which are toxic to humans. Other common moulds can cause mild to severe allergenic reactions and infections.
ASM can conduct an inspection of your building ranging from simple mould confirmation or identification testing to full comprehensive building inspections including moisture testing, identifying causes of leaks or water ingress, carrying out airborne spore trapping and mould identification testing.
